Ferment terms of use

1. Agreement
These terms are between you and Dre Dev ("we"), the publisher of Ferment: Cider, Mead, Kombucha ("the app"). By installing or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
2. The app
Ferment keeps a journal of home cider, mead, kombucha and similar batches, estimates alcohol from gravity readings, calculates sugar, honey, priming sugar and yeast nutrient amounts, corrects hydrometer and refractometer readings, and reminds you about the steps you plan. Some features are free; others need Ferment Pro.
3. Adults only, and the law
The app is for adults of legal drinking age where you live. Cider and mead contain alcohol, and home-made kombucha can too. Rules on making, keeping, sharing and selling alcoholic drinks at home differ by country: you are responsible for following the law where you live. The app does not sell alcohol and has no distilling tools. Please drink responsibly.
4. Calculations and safety
Every formula comes from a published source listed in the app (Settings → Formulas & sources) and on the support page. Results are estimates: real gravity, alcohol and carbonation depend on your ingredients, yeast, temperature and equipment. Measure with a hydrometer, follow a trusted recipe and good hygiene, bottle only a finished drink, use bottles made for carbonated drinks, and never drink anything that smells, tastes or looks wrong (for example mould on kombucha). Planned step lengths are starting points, not instructions. You are responsible for what you make and drink. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for harm, injury, burst bottles, spoiled batches or other loss arising from the use of the app.
5. Subscriptions and purchases
- Pro is an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly). The price and period are shown in the app before you buy and may differ by country.
- Pro is also offered as a one-time lifetime purchase: it is charged once, never renews and keeps Pro unlocked on your store account.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you buy a subscription.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. After cancelling, Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. Your batches stay on your device.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
- Use "Restore purchases" in the app's settings to unlock Pro on a new device with the same store account.
6. Your content
Batches, readings, additions, ratings and notes you add are yours and are stored on your device. Exporting a backup file is free; keeping it outside the phone is your responsibility. See the privacy policy.
7. Reminders
Reminders are calculated on your device. Whether notifications arrive depends on your device and its settings, so don't rely on the app as your only reminder, especially for releasing pressure from bottles.
8. Acceptable use
Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, and don't use it to break the law.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of data arising from using the app. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot be waived under the law of your country.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the current version. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Ці умови укладаються між вами та Dre Dev («ми»), видавцем Ferment: Cider, Mead, Kombucha («застосунок»). Установлюючи або використовуючи застосунок, ви погоджуєтеся з ними. 2. Застосунок
Ferment веде журнал домашніх партій сидру, медовухи, комбучі та подібних напоїв, оцінює міцність за замірами густини, розраховує кількість цукру, меду, цукру для газації й підживлення для дріжджів, виправляє покази ареометра й рефрактометра та нагадує про заплановані етапи. Частина функцій безкоштовна, решта потребує Ferment Pro.
3. Лише для повнолітніх і закон
Застосунок призначений для повнолітніх, яким за законом вашої країни дозволено вживати алкоголь. Сидр і медовуха містять спирт, домашня комбуча теж може. Правила виготовлення, зберігання, передавання й продажу алкогольних напоїв удома різняться між країнами: ви відповідаєте за дотримання закону там, де живете. Застосунок не продає алкоголь і не має інструментів для дистиляції. Пийте відповідально.
4. Розрахунки й безпека
Кожна формула взята з опублікованого джерела, перелік є в застосунку (Налаштування → Формули та джерела) і на сторінці підтримки. Результати — оцінки: справжні густина, міцність і газація залежать від інгредієнтів, дріжджів, температури й обладнання. Міряйте ареометром, дотримуйтеся перевіреного рецепта й гігієни, розливайте лише збраджений напій, беріть пляшки для газованих напоїв і ніколи не пийте те, що має підозрілий запах, смак чи вигляд (наприклад, пліснява на комбучі). Тривалість етапів за планом — орієнтир, а не інструкція. Ви відповідаєте за те, що робите й пʼєте. У межах, дозволених законом, ми не відповідаємо за шкоду, травми, розірвані пляшки, зіпсовані партії чи інші втрати, повʼязані з використанням застосунку.
5. Підписки та покупки
- Pro — підписка з автопоновленням (на місяць або рік). Ціна й період показані в застосунку перед покупкою і можуть відрізнятися залежно від країни.
- Pro також доступний як разова покупка назавжди: оплата один раз, без поновлення, Pro залишається відкритим у вашому обліковому записі магазину.
- Оплата списується з вашого Apple ID або облікового запису Google Play після підтвердження покупки.
- Підписка автоматично поновлюється на той самий період і за тією ж ціною, якщо ви не скасуєте її щонайменше за 24 години до кінця поточного періоду. Оплата за поновлення списується протягом 24 годин до кінця періоду.
- Якщо пропонується безкоштовний пробний період, його невикористана частина згорає, коли ви купуєте підписку.
- Керувати підпискою чи скасувати її можна в налаштуваннях облікового запису App Store або Google Play. Після скасування Pro діє до кінця оплаченого періоду. Ваші партії залишаються на пристрої.
- Повернення коштів обробляють Apple або Google за своїми правилами.
- Щоб відкрити Pro на новому пристрої з тим самим обліковим записом магазину, натисніть «Відновити покупки» в налаштуваннях застосунку.
6. Ваш вміст
Партії, заміри, додавання, оцінки й нотатки, які ви вносите, належать вам і зберігаються на вашому пристрої. Експорт файлу копії безкоштовний; зберігати його поза телефоном — ваша відповідальність. Див. політику конфіденційності.
7. Нагадування
Нагадування розраховуються на вашому пристрої. Чи надійдуть сповіщення, залежить від пристрою та його налаштувань, тож не покладайтеся на застосунок як на єдине нагадування, особливо щодо стравлювання газу з пляшок.
8. Допустиме використання
Не копіюйте, не перепродавайте, не декомпілюйте застосунок, не зловживайте ним і не використовуйте його для порушення закону.
9. Відмова від гарантій і відповідальність
Застосунок надається «як є», без гарантій, у межах, дозволених законом. У межах, дозволених законом, ми не відповідаємо за непрямі збитки чи втрату даних через використання застосунку. Ніщо в цих умовах не обмежує прав споживачів, від яких не можна відмовитися за законом вашої країни.
10. Зміни
Ми можемо оновлювати ці умови. Дата набрання чинності вгорі показує чинну версію. Якщо ви продовжуєте користуватися застосунком після змін, ви приймаєте оновлені умови.
