Ferment privacy policy

Summary
Ferment: Cider, Mead, Kombucha is published by Dre Dev ("we"). It keeps a journal of your home cider, mead and kombucha batches and has brewing calculators. Everything you enter stays on your device. We don't run accounts, ads or analytics, and we don't sell or share your data.
Data stored on your device
The app saves the following only in the app's storage on your phone:
- your batches (name, drink, start date, volume, gravities, step and its planned length, notes);
- the batch journal: gravity readings with temperature, sugar, honey and other additions, notes and step changes;
- reminders you set for a batch;
- settings such as units, gravity unit, ABV formula and reminder time, and the drink you picked in onboarding.
This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you delete it in the app, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. It may be included in your device backup (iCloud or Google), which is covered by Apple's and Google's policies. The calculators work on your device and don't store what you type.
Automatic copies
To protect your journal, the app keeps copies of it on your device: one for each of the last 7 days it changed. They stay in the app's storage on your phone, are never sent anywhere, and are deleted with the app. Settings → Automatic copies lets you go back to one.
Backup files and shared pictures
If you tap "Export backup", the app creates a file with your batches on your device and opens your phone's share menu. The file goes only where you choose to send or save it (for example Files, a cloud drive or an email). "Import backup" reads only the file you pick in the system file picker. "Share batch" works the same way: the app draws a picture of the batch (name, drink, gravities, ABV, days, your rating and tasting note) on your device and hands it to the share menu.
Subscriptions
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To check whether you have Pro, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device information such as OS version and IP address. Ratings and support
"Rate the app" uses the store's own rating dialog; Apple or Google handle that. "Contact support" opens your email app; we receive only what you choose to send, and use it only to answer you.
Permissions
- Notifications: reminders when a step is planned to end, daily "burp the bottles" reminders during kombucha F2, and reminders you set. You can turn them off at any time in system settings.
- Internet: only to verify purchases and to open the web pages you tap (terms, privacy, support).
The app doesn't use your location, camera, photos, contacts or microphone.
Age
Ferment is meant for adults of legal drinking age where they live and is not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because your data stays on your device, you can view, change, export or delete it in the app or by uninstalling the app. For questions about purchase data held by RevenueCat, contact us and we will help.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.

Усе, що ви вводите, залишається на вашому пристрої. У нас немає облікових записів, реклами й аналітики, і ми не продаємо та не передаємо ваші дані.
Дані на вашому пристрої
Застосунок зберігає лише в памʼяті застосунку на вашому телефоні:
- ваші партії (назва, напій, дата початку, обʼєм, густина, етап і його тривалість за планом, нотатки);
- журнал партії: заміри густини з температурою, додавання цукру, меду й іншого, нотатки, зміни етапів;
- нагадування, які ви поставили для партії;
- налаштування: одиниці, одиниця густини, формула міцності, час нагадувань, а також напій, обраний в онбордингу.
Ці дані не надсилаються ні нам, ні комусь іншому. Вони видаляються, коли ви видаляєте їх у застосунку, очищаєте дані застосунку або видаляєте його. Вони можуть потрапити в резервну копію пристрою (iCloud або Google), на яку поширюються правила Apple і Google. Калькулятори працюють на пристрої й не зберігають введене.
Автоматичні копії
Щоб уберегти журнал, застосунок зберігає його копії на пристрої: по одній за кожен із 7 останніх днів, коли він змінювався. Вони лишаються в памʼяті застосунку на телефоні, нікуди не надсилаються й видаляються разом із застосунком. У Налаштування → Автоматичні копії можна повернутися до будь-якої з них.
Файли копій і картинки партій
Якщо ви натиснете «Експорт копії», застосунок створить файл із вашими партіями на пристрої й відкриє системне меню «Поділитися». Файл потрапить лише туди, куди ви самі його надішлете чи збережете (наприклад, у Файли, хмарний диск або пошту). «Імпорт копії» читає лише файл, який ви оберете в системному вікні вибору файлів. «Поділитися партією» працює так само: застосунок малює на пристрої картинку партії (назва, напій, густина, міцність, дні, ваша оцінка й нотатка дегустації) і передає її в меню «Поділитися».
Підписки
Оплату обробляють Apple App Store або Google Play; ми ніколи не бачимо ваших платіжних даних. Щоб перевірити, чи є у вас Pro, застосунок використовує RevenueCat, який отримує анонімний ідентифікатор користувача застосунку, статус покупки й підписки та базові дані пристрою, як-от версія ОС та IP-адреса. Оцінки й підтримка
«Оцінити застосунок» використовує вікно оцінювання магазину; цим займаються Apple або Google. «Написати в підтримку» відкриває ваш поштовий застосунок; ми отримуємо лише те, що ви самі надішлете, і використовуємо це тільки для відповіді.
Дозволи
- Сповіщення: нагадування про кінець етапу за планом, щоденні нагадування стравити газ під час F2 комбучі та нагадування, які ви поставили. Їх можна вимкнути будь-коли в налаштуваннях системи.
- Інтернет: лише для перевірки покупок і відкриття вебсторінок, на які ви натискаєте (умови, конфіденційність, підтримка).
Застосунок не використовує геолокацію, камеру, фото, контакти чи мікрофон.
Вік
Ferment призначений для повнолітніх, яким за законом їхньої країни дозволено вживати алкоголь, і не розрахований на дітей. Ми свідомо не збираємо інформацію про дітей.
Ваші права
Оскільки дані залишаються на пристрої, ви можете переглянути, змінити, експортувати або видалити їх у застосунку чи видаливши застосунок. Із питаннями щодо даних покупок у RevenueCat звертайтеся до нас, і ми допоможемо.
