Frequently asked questions
How are gallons calculated?
Painted area × coats ÷ the product's coverage per coat, plus your waste allowance, then rounded up to the cheapest mix of pails and cans you stock. Walls lose the standard door and window areas and any other openings you enter; baseboard loses the door widths. Check coverage on your product's label or data sheet: rough, porous or unprimed surfaces take more.
How do I count five identical bedrooms?
Add one bedroom and tap + next to "Identical rooms". Doors and windows are counts too.
Where do the labor hours come from?
From your crew's speed per coat (Labor → Crew speed): walls and ceilings in square feet per hour, baseboard and crown in feet per hour, doors and windows in hours each, plus prep time per room. Time your own crew and type your numbers in.
How do I put my company on the PDF quote?
On the home screen tap the sliders icon → Business profile. The name, phone, email, license and terms appear on every quote. Turn off "Price per room" to show only the total.
How do I switch to metric or another currency?
Sliders icon → Units & currency.
How do I restore or cancel PaintBid Pro?
Restore: Settings → Restore purchases. Cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account subscriptions; deleting the app does not cancel it. Lifetime has nothing to cancel.
Where are my jobs stored, and how do I move them to a new phone?
Only on your phone; there is no account or cloud sync. Settings → Back up jobs saves a file you can keep in Files, a drive or email. On the new phone: Settings → Restore from a backup.
How do follow-up reminders work?
After your first quote, PaintBid asks whether to remind you. If a quote is still marked Sent after the number of days you chose (Settings → Follow-up reminders), you get a notification at 9:00. Marking the job won or lost cancels it.
How do I put my logo on quotes?
Sliders icon → Business profile → Logo on quotes → Add.

Як рахуються галони?
Площа фарбування × кількість шарів ÷ покриття продукту на один шар, плюс ваш запас на відходи, і далі округлення до найдешевшого набору відер і банок, які ви купуєте. Зі стін віднімаються стандартні площі дверей і вікон та інші прорізи, які ви ввели; з плінтуса — ширина дверей. Звіряйте покриття з етикеткою чи технічним паспортом продукту: шорсткі, пористі чи незаґрунтовані поверхні беруть більше фарби.
Як порахувати п'ять однакових спалень?
Додайте одну спальню й натисніть + біля «Identical rooms». Двері й вікна теж задаються кількістю.
Звідки беруться години роботи?
Зі швидкості вашої бригади на один шар (Labor → Crew speed): стіни й стелі в квадратних футах на годину, плінтус і карниз у футах на годину, двері й вікна в годинах на штуку, плюс час на підготовку кожної кімнати. Заміряйте свою бригаду й впишіть свої числа.
Як додати свою фірму в PDF-кошторис?
На головному екрані іконка з повзунками → Business profile. Назва, телефон, email, ліцензія й умови з'являться на кожному кошторисі. Вимкніть «Price per room», щоб показувати лише загальну суму.
Як перейти на метричну систему чи іншу валюту?
Іконка з повзунками → Units & currency.
Як відновити чи скасувати PaintBid Pro?
Відновити: Settings → Restore purchases. Підписку скасовують у підписках облікового запису App Store або Google Play; видалення застосунку її не скасовує. Lifetime скасовувати не треба.
Де зберігаються мої роботи і як перенести їх на новий телефон?
Лише на вашому телефоні; облікового запису й хмарної синхронізації немає. Settings → Back up jobs зберігає файл, який можна тримати у Файлах, на хмарному диску чи в пошті. На новому телефоні: Settings → Restore from a backup.
Як працюють нагадування?
Після першого кошторису PaintBid питає, чи нагадувати вам. Якщо кошторис досі має статус Sent через обрану кількість днів (Settings → Follow-up reminders), о 9:00 приходить сповіщення. Позначка Won чи Lost його скасовує.
Як додати логотип на кошториси?
Іконка з повзунками → Business profile → Logo on quotes → Add.
