ShiftWise privacy policy

Summary
ShiftWise: Rota & Pay is published by Dre Dev ("we"). It shows your shift rota in a calendar and on widgets and estimates your pay. Everything you enter stays on your device. We don't run accounts, ads or analytics, and we don't sell or share your data.
Data stored on your device
The app saves the following only in the app's storage on your phone:
- your rotas: shift patterns, shift names, times, breaks and colours;
- changes to single days: swapped shifts, leave, overtime hours and notes;
- pay settings: hourly rate, currency, pay period, enhancements and overtime rules;
- app settings such as the theme and when shift reminders arrive.
To show your next shifts on home and lock screen widgets, the app writes the coming weeks of shifts to a storage area shared only with its own widgets. This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you delete a rota, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. It may be included in your device backup (iCloud or Google), which is covered by Apple's and Google's policies.
Files you export and restore
"Export to calendar" creates a calendar file (.ics) with your shifts, "Share this month" creates a picture of your month's rota, and "Back up rotas" creates a file with your rotas. All three are created on your device and passed to your phone's share menu. Nothing leaves your device unless you choose where to send or save the file, for example your calendar app, Files or email; from then on that app's own privacy policy applies. "Restore from a backup" opens your phone's file picker and reads only the file you choose, on your device, to put its rotas back in the app.
Your phone's calendar
If you turn on "Sync to my phone's calendar" (ShiftWise Pro), the app asks for access to your calendar and creates a separate calendar called ShiftWise: on Android a calendar stored on the phone only; on iPhone in your iCloud account when you use iCloud Calendar (so it also shows on your other Apple devices), otherwise on the phone. The app writes your shifts into that calendar and keeps them up to date when your rota changes. It does not read, change or delete events in your other calendars. Turning sync off deletes the ShiftWise calendar and every shift in it. Nothing is sent to us.
Subscriptions
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To check whether you have an active subscription, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device information such as OS version and IP address. Permissions
- Calendar (optional, Pro): only if you turn on phone calendar sync, to create and update the ShiftWise calendar.
- Notifications (optional): only if you turn on shift reminders. Reminders are scheduled on your device from your rota; nothing is sent to us. You can turn them off in the app or in system settings.
- Internet: only to verify subscriptions.
- The app does not ask for access to your contacts, location or photos.
Children
ShiftWise is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because your data stays on your device, you can view, change or delete it in the app or by uninstalling the app. For questions about subscription data held by RevenueCat, contact us and we will help. If you are in the UK or the EU, you also have rights under the UK GDPR or the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.

Дані на вашому пристрої
Застосунок зберігає лише в пам'яті застосунку на вашому телефоні:
- ваші графіки: цикли змін, назви змін, час, перерви й кольори;
- зміни окремих днів: обміни змінами, відпустки, понаднормові години й нотатки;
- налаштування оплати: погодинну ставку, валюту, розрахунковий період, надбавки й правила понаднормових;
- налаштування застосунку, як-от тема й час нагадувань про зміни.
Щоб показувати найближчі зміни у віджетах на головному екрані й екрані блокування, застосунок записує зміни на кілька тижнів наперед у сховище, спільне лише з його власними віджетами. Ці дані не надсилаються ні нам, ні комусь іншому. Вони видаляються разом із графіком, під час очищення даних застосунку або його видалення. Вони можуть потрапити в резервну копію пристрою (iCloud або Google), на яку поширюються правила Apple і Google.
Файли, які ви експортуєте й відновлюєте
«Експорт у календар» створює файл календаря (.ics) з вашими змінами, «Поділитися місяцем» — картинку з графіком на місяць, а «Резервна копія графіків» — файл з графіками. Усі вони створюються на пристрої й передаються в системне меню «Поділитися». Нічого не залишає пристрій, доки ви самі не оберете, куди надіслати чи зберегти файл (наприклад, у календар, «Файли» чи пошту); далі діє політика конфіденційності того застосунку. «Відновити з резервної копії» відкриває системний вибір файлів і читає лише вибраний вами файл, на пристрої, щоб повернути з нього графіки в застосунок.
Календар телефона
Якщо ви вмикаєте «Синхронізувати з календарем телефона» (ShiftWise Pro), застосунок просить доступ до календаря й створює окремий календар ShiftWise: на Android — календар лише на телефоні; на iPhone — у вашому iCloud, якщо ви користуєтеся Календарем iCloud (тоді його видно й на інших пристроях Apple), інакше на телефоні. Застосунок записує в цей календар ваші зміни й оновлює їх, коли змінюється графік. Він не читає, не змінює й не видаляє події в інших календарях. Вимкнення синхронізації видаляє календар ShiftWise з усіма змінами. Нам нічого не надсилається.
Підписки
Оплату обробляють Apple App Store або Google Play; ми ніколи не бачимо ваших платіжних даних. Щоб перевірити, чи активна підписка, застосунок використовує RevenueCat, який отримує анонімний ідентифікатор користувача застосунку, статус покупки й підписки та базові дані пристрою, як-от версія ОС та IP-адреса. Дозволи
- Календар (за бажанням, Pro): лише якщо ви вмикаєте синхронізацію з календарем телефона, щоб створювати й оновлювати календар ShiftWise.
- Сповіщення (за бажанням): лише якщо ви вмикаєте нагадування про зміни. Нагадування плануються на пристрої з вашого графіка; нам нічого не надсилається. Вимкнути їх можна в застосунку або в налаштуваннях системи.
- Інтернет: лише для перевірки підписки.
- Застосунок не запитує доступу до контактів, геолокації чи фото.
Діти
ShiftWise не призначений для дітей до 13 років, і ми свідомо не збираємо інформацію про дітей.
Ваші права
Оскільки дані залишаються на пристрої, ви можете переглянути, змінити або видалити їх у застосунку чи видаливши застосунок. Із питаннями щодо даних підписки в RevenueCat звертайтеся до нас, і ми допоможемо. Якщо ви у Великій Британії чи ЄС, ви маєте права за UK GDPR або GDPR, зокрема право поскаржитися до органу із захисту даних (у Великій Британії — ICO).
