Summary
RoofCalc is published by Dre Dev ("we"). It is a roofing calculator and estimating tool for roofers. Everything you enter stays on your device. We don't run accounts, ads or analytics, and we don't sell or share your data.
Data stored on your device
The app saves the following only in the app's storage on your phone:
- roof measurements, saved estimates and material prices, including client names or addresses you type;
- your business profile shown on PDF quotes: company name, phone, email, license number, note and, if you add one, your company logo;
- photos of the roof you add to an estimate (up to 4 per estimate) and, if your client signs on your screen, their signature with their name and the date;
- the dates of follow-up reminders you allow;
- settings such as units, pitch format, currency, theme, language and the count of free estimates.
This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you delete an estimate, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. It may be included in your device backup (iCloud or Google), which is covered by Apple's and Google's policies.
Quotes and material lists you share
When you tap "Send quote", the app creates a PDF on your device, with the site photos and the client's signature if the estimate has them, and opens your phone's share menu. When you copy a material order, it goes to your clipboard. "Back up estimates" saves a file with your estimates (including signatures, but not site photos), business profile and prices to the place you pick (for example Files, Google Drive or your email); "Restore from backup" reads a file you choose. Nothing is shared unless you choose where to send it, and we never receive a copy.
Subscriptions
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To check whether you have an active subscription or the lifetime unlock, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device information such as OS version and IP address. Permissions
- Internet: only to verify subscriptions.
- Photos and camera: only when you tap "Add logo" or "Camera" in your business profile, to pick or take your company logo, or "Add photo" on an estimate, to add photos of the roof to that quote. The app keeps copies of only the images you pick or take, on your device, and prints them on your quotes. It never reads your other photos.
- Notifications: the app asks only when you send your first quote. If you allow them, it schedules a reminder on your phone 3 days after each quote is sent, showing the client's name, so you can follow up. Your phone schedules and shows the reminders; nothing is sent to us or to any server. On Android the app puts scheduled reminders back after the phone restarts. Marking the quote Won or Lost, or deleting it, cancels its reminder.
- Motion sensors: only while the pitch gauge is open, the app reads the phone's tilt to measure the roof pitch. The readings stay on the device and are not stored or sent.
- The app does not use your location or contacts.
Children
RoofCalc is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because your data stays on your device, you can view, change or delete it in the app or by uninstalling the app. For questions about subscription data held by RevenueCat, contact us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.

Datos guardados en tu dispositivo
La app guarda lo siguiente solo en el almacenamiento de la app en tu teléfono:
- medidas de techos, estimados guardados y precios de materiales, incluidos los nombres o direcciones de clientes que escribas;
- el perfil de tu negocio que aparece en las cotizaciones en PDF: nombre de la compañía, teléfono, correo, número de licencia, nota y, si lo agregas, el logo de tu compañía;
- las fotos del techo que agregues a un estimado (hasta 4 por estimado) y, si tu cliente firma en tu pantalla, su firma con su nombre y la fecha;
- las fechas de los recordatorios de seguimiento que permitas;
- ajustes como unidades, formato de inclinación, moneda, tema, idioma y el conteo de estimados gratis.
Estos datos no se nos envían ni a nosotros ni a nadie más. Se borran cuando borras un estimado, borras los datos de la app o la desinstalas. Pueden incluirse en el respaldo de tu dispositivo (iCloud o Google), que se rige por las políticas de Apple y Google.
Cotizaciones y listas de materiales que compartes
Cuando tocas "Mandar cotización", la app crea un PDF en tu dispositivo, con las fotos del sitio y la firma del cliente si el estimado las tiene, y abre el menú para compartir de tu teléfono. Cuando mandas un pedido de materiales, el texto va a donde tú elijas. "Respaldar estimados" guarda un archivo con tus estimados (con las firmas, pero sin las fotos del sitio), el perfil de tu negocio y tus precios en el lugar que elijas (por ejemplo Archivos, Google Drive o tu correo); "Restaurar desde un respaldo" lee un archivo que tú eliges. Nada se comparte a menos que tú elijas a dónde mandarlo, y nunca recibimos una copia.
Suscripciones
Los pagos los procesan Apple App Store o Google Play; nunca vemos tus datos de pago. Para comprobar si tienes una suscripción activa o el desbloqueo de por vida, la app usa RevenueCat, que recibe un identificador anónimo de usuario de la app, el estado de tus compras y suscripciones, y datos básicos del dispositivo como la versión del sistema y la dirección IP. Consulta la política de privacidad de RevenueCat, la de Apple y la de Google.
Permisos
- Internet: solo para comprobar las suscripciones.
- Fotos y cámara: solo cuando tocas "Agregar logo" o "Cámara" en el perfil de tu negocio, para elegir o tomar el logo de tu compañía, o "Agregar foto" en un estimado, para agregar fotos del techo a esa cotización. La app guarda copias solo de las imágenes que eliges o tomas, en tu dispositivo, y las imprime en tus cotizaciones. Nunca lee tus otras fotos.
- Sensores de movimiento: solo mientras el medidor de inclinación está abierto, la app lee la inclinación del teléfono para medir la inclinación del techo. Las lecturas se quedan en el dispositivo y no se guardan ni se envían.
- Notificaciones: la app pregunta solo cuando mandas tu primera cotización. Si lo permites, programa en tu teléfono un recordatorio 3 días después de mandar cada cotización, con el nombre del cliente, para que des seguimiento. Tu teléfono programa y muestra los recordatorios; nada se nos envía ni a ningún servidor. En Android la app vuelve a programar los recordatorios después de reiniciar el teléfono. Marcar la cotización como Ganada o Perdida, o borrarla, cancela su recordatorio.
- La app no usa tu ubicación ni tus contactos.
Niños
RoofCalc es una herramienta profesional y no está dirigida a menores de 13 años. No recopilamos a sabiendas información de niños.
Tus derechos
Como tus datos se quedan en tu dispositivo, puedes verlos, cambiarlos o borrarlos en la app o desinstalándola. Si tienes preguntas sobre los datos de suscripción que guarda RevenueCat, escríbenos y te ayudamos.
Cambios
Si esta política cambia, actualizaremos esta página y la fecha de entrada en vigor de arriba.

Дані на вашому пристрої
Застосунок зберігає лише в пам'яті застосунку на вашому телефоні:
- заміри дахів, збережені кошториси й ціни матеріалів, зокрема імена чи адреси клієнтів, які ви вводите;
- профіль вашої фірми для PDF-кошторисів: назва, телефон, email, номер ліцензії, примітка й, якщо ви його додали, логотип фірми;
- фото даху, які ви додаєте до кошторису (до 4 на кошторис), і, якщо клієнт підписується на вашому екрані, його підпис з іменем і датою;
- дати нагадувань про follow-up, які ви дозволили;
- налаштування, як-от одиниці виміру, формат ухилу, валюта, тема, мова й лічильник безкоштовних кошторисів.
Ці дані не надсилаються ні нам, ні комусь іншому. Вони видаляються, коли ви видаляєте кошторис, очищаєте дані застосунку або видаляєте його. Вони можуть потрапити в резервну копію пристрою (iCloud або Google), на яку поширюються правила Apple і Google.
Кошториси й списки матеріалів, якими ви ділитеся
Коли ви натискаєте «Send quote», застосунок створює PDF на пристрої (з фото об'єкта й підписом клієнта, якщо вони є в кошторисі) і відкриває системне меню «Поділитися». Підписки
Оплату обробляють Apple App Store або Google Play; ми ніколи не бачимо ваших платіжних даних. Щоб перевірити, чи активна підписка або довічне розблокування, застосунок використовує RevenueCat, який отримує анонімний ідентифікатор користувача застосунку, статус покупки й підписки та базові дані пристрою, як-от версія ОС та IP-адреса. Позначка Won чи Lost або видалення кошторису скасовує його нагадування.
- Датчики руху: лише поки відкритий вимірювач ухилу, застосунок зчитує нахил телефона, щоб виміряти ухил даху. Ці дані лишаються на пристрої, не зберігаються й не передаються.
- Застосунок не використовує геолокацію чи контакти.
Діти
RoofCalc — професійний інструмент, не призначений для дітей до 13 років. Ми свідомо не збираємо інформацію про дітей.
Ваші права
Оскільки ваші дані залишаються на пристрої, ви можете переглянути, змінити чи видалити їх у застосунку або видаливши застосунок. Із питаннями щодо даних підписки, які зберігає RevenueCat, звертайтеся до нас, і ми допоможемо.
