Levain privacy policy

Summary
Levain: Sourdough Baker is published by Dre Dev ("we"). It calculates sourdough formulas, reminds you to feed your starter, plans your bake with a reminder for every step and keeps a journal of your loaves. Everything you enter stays on your device. We don't run accounts, ads or analytics, and we don't sell or share your data.
Data stored on your device
The app saves the following only in the app's storage on your phone:
- starters: names, feeding ratio and amount, where they are kept, feeding interval, and the feeding log with the times you fed them and the times they peaked;
- bake plans: the steps, their durations and the time the bread should be ready, and your own schedule templates;
- the calculator's current formula and the recipes you save;
- journal entries: names, dates, ratings, fermentation times, notes, the formula used, and photos you take or pick. The app copies only the photos you choose into its own storage;
- settings such as the weight unit and on-the-minute reminders.
This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you delete it in the app, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. It may be included in your device backup (iCloud or Google), which is covered by Apple's and Google's policies.
Backup files
When you tap "Save backup file", the app makes one file with all your starters, plans, recipes, journal entries and photos on your device and hands it to the place you choose (for example Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or e-mail). That service's own privacy policy applies to the copy you store there. When you restore, the app reads only the file you pick and replaces the data on the phone with it.
Reminders
Feeding and bake-step reminders are local notifications scheduled on your phone. Their content (for example a starter's name or a step of your plan) is not sent to us or to any notification service.
Subscriptions
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To check whether you have Levain Pro, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device information such as OS version and IP address. See the RevenueCat privacy policy, the Apple privacy policy and the Google privacy policy.
Permissions
- Notifications: for feeding and bake-step reminders.
- Alarms & reminders (Android, optional): only if you turn on on-the-minute reminders in the app's settings.
- Camera: only when you tap "Take a photo" for a journal entry.
- Photos: only the photos you pick are read.
- Files: only the backup file you pick in the system file picker is read.
- Internet: only to verify purchases.
Ratings and support
If you rate the app, the dialog is shown by Apple or Google. If you e-mail us, we receive your e-mail address and message and use them only to answer you.
Children
Levain is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because your data stays on your device, you can view, change, export or delete it in the app or by uninstalling the app. For questions about purchase data held by RevenueCat, contact us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.

Усе, що ви вводите, залишається на вашому пристрої. У нас немає облікових записів, реклами й аналітики, і ми не продаємо та не передаємо ваші дані.
Дані на вашому пристрої
Застосунок зберігає лише в памʼяті застосунку на вашому телефоні:
- закваски: назви, пропорцію й кількість для годування, де вони зберігаються, інтервал годування та журнал годувань із часом годування й часом піку;
- плани випікання: кроки, їхню тривалість і час, коли хліб має бути готовий, а також ваші шаблони розкладу;
- поточну формулу калькулятора й збережені рецепти;
- записи журналу: назви, дати, оцінки, час бродіння, нотатки, використану формулу та фото, які ви знімаєте або обираєте. Застосунок копіює у свою памʼять лише вибрані вами фото;
- налаштування, як-от одиниці ваги й нагадування хвилина в хвилину.
Ці дані не надсилаються ні нам, ні комусь іншому. Вони видаляються, коли ви видаляєте їх у застосунку, очищуєте дані застосунку або видаляєте його. Вони можуть потрапити в резервну копію пристрою (iCloud або Google), на яку поширюються правила Apple і Google.
Файли резервних копій
Коли ви натискаєте «Зберегти резервну копію», застосунок створює на пристрої один файл з усіма заквасками, планами, рецептами, записами журналу й фото та передає його туди, куди ви оберете (наприклад, Файли, iCloud Drive, Google Диск або пошта). До копії там застосовується політика конфіденційності відповідного сервісу. Під час відновлення застосунок читає лише вибраний вами файл і замінює ним дані на телефоні.
Нагадування
Нагадування про годування й кроки випікання — це локальні сповіщення, заплановані на вашому телефоні. Їхній вміст (наприклад, назва закваски чи крок плану) не надсилається ні нам, ні будь-якому сервісу сповіщень.
Підписки
Оплату обробляють Apple App Store або Google Play; ми ніколи не бачимо ваших платіжних даних. Щоб перевірити, чи є у вас Levain Pro, застосунок використовує RevenueCat, який отримує анонімний ідентифікатор користувача застосунку, статус покупки й підписки та базові дані пристрою, як-от версія ОС та IP-адреса. Дозволи
- Сповіщення: для нагадувань про годування й кроки випікання.
- Будильники й нагадування (Android, необовʼязково): лише якщо ви ввімкнете нагадування хвилина в хвилину в налаштуваннях застосунку.
- Камера: лише коли ви натискаєте «Зробити фото» для запису в журналі.
- Фото: застосунок читає лише фото, які ви обрали.
- Файли: застосунок читає лише файл резервної копії, який ви обрали в системному вікні вибору файлів.
- Інтернет: лише для перевірки покупок.
Оцінки й підтримка
Якщо ви оцінюєте застосунок, вікно показують Apple або Google. Якщо ви пишете нам листа, ми отримуємо вашу адресу й повідомлення та використовуємо їх лише для відповіді.
Діти
Levain не призначений для дітей до 13 років, і ми свідомо не збираємо інформацію про дітей.
Ваші права
Оскільки дані залишаються на пристрої, ви можете переглянути, змінити, експортувати або видалити їх у застосунку чи видаливши застосунок. Із питаннями щодо даних покупок у RevenueCat звертайтеся до нас, і ми допоможемо.
Зміни
