HiveLog privacy policy

Summary
HiveLog: Beekeeping Journal is published by Dre Dev ("we"). It keeps a journal of your apiaries, hives, inspections, varroa treatments, feedings and honey harvests. Everything you enter stays on your device. We don't run accounts, ads or analytics, and we don't sell or share your data.
Data stored on your device
The app saves the following only in the app's storage on your phone:
- your apiaries and hives (names, hive type, queen year and notes, dates, status);
- inspections (date, queen, eggs, queen cells, brood, frames, temper, stores, mite counts, what you did, notes) and the photos you add to them;
- varroa treatments (product name, hives, schedule, reminder setting, notes), feedings and honey harvests;
- settings such as units, theme and reminder time.
This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you delete it in the app, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. It may be included in your device backup (iCloud or Google), which is covered by Apple's and Google's policies. The feeding calculator works on your device and doesn't store what you type unless you log a feeding.
Automatic backups
To protect your records, the app keeps copies of the journal on your device: one per day for the last 14 days you used it, plus a copy made before an import or restore. They stay in the app's storage on your phone (on iPhone they are also visible in the Files app under On My iPhone → HiveLog) and are deleted with the app.
Photos
With HiveLog Pro you can add photos to an inspection, taken with the camera or chosen from your photo library. The app saves a copy of each photo in its own storage on your phone and nowhere else; it only reads the photos you choose. When you share an inspection, its photos go only where you send them. Deleting an inspection's photo removes it from the inspection; the file is deleted once no automatic backup refers to it.
Backup files and exports
If you tap "Export backup file" or "Export spreadsheet (CSV)", the app creates a file on your device and opens your phone's share menu. A backup file of a journal with photos is a .zip file that contains the photos too. The file goes only where you choose to send or save it (for example Files, a cloud drive or an email). "Import backup file" reads only the file you pick in the system file picker.
Subscriptions
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To check whether you have an active subscription, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device information such as OS version and IP address. Ratings and support
The app may ask you to rate it using the store's own rating dialog; Apple or Google handle that. "Contact support" opens your email app; we receive only what you choose to send, and use it only to answer you.
Permissions
- Notifications: for treatment reminders (the next dose and the day strips come out). You can turn them off at any time in system settings.
- Camera and photo library (iPhone asks the first time): only when you add photos to an inspection.
- Internet: only to verify subscriptions.
The app doesn't use your location, contacts or microphone.
Children
HiveLog is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because your data stays on your device, you can view, change, export or delete it in the app or by uninstalling the app. For questions about subscription data held by RevenueCat, contact us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.

Дані на вашому пристрої
Застосунок зберігає лише в памʼяті застосунку на вашому телефоні:
- ваші пасіки й вулики (назви, тип вулика, рік і нотатки про матку, дати, стан);
- огляди (дата, матка, яйця, маточники, розплід, рамки, норов, корм, підрахунок кліща, що зроблено, нотатки) і фото, які ви до них додаєте;
- обробки від кліща (назва препарату, вулики, схема, налаштування нагадувань, нотатки), підгодівлі й медозбір;
- налаштування: одиниці, тема, час нагадувань.
Ці дані не надсилаються ні нам, ні комусь іншому. Вони видаляються, коли ви видаляєте їх у застосунку, очищаєте дані застосунку або видаляєте його. Вони можуть потрапити в резервну копію пристрою (iCloud або Google), на яку поширюються правила Apple і Google. Калькулятор підгодівлі працює на пристрої й не зберігає введене, якщо ви не записуєте підгодівлю.
Автоматичні копії
Щоб уберегти записи, застосунок зберігає копії журналу на пристрої: по одній за кожен із 14 останніх днів використання, а також копію перед імпортом чи відновленням. Вони лишаються в памʼяті застосунку на телефоні (на iPhone їх видно й у застосунку «Файли»: На iPhone → HiveLog) і видаляються разом із застосунком.
Фото
У HiveLog Pro до огляду можна додати фото з камери або з галереї. Застосунок зберігає копію кожного фото у своїй памʼяті на телефоні й більше ніде; він читає лише ті фото, які ви вибрали. Коли ви ділитеся оглядом, його фото потрапляють лише туди, куди ви їх надсилаєте. Видалене з огляду фото зникає з огляду; сам файл видаляється, щойно на нього не посилається жодна автоматична копія.
Файли копій і експорт
Якщо ви натиснете «Експортувати файл копії» або «Експорт у таблицю (CSV)», застосунок створить файл на пристрої й відкриє системне меню «Поділитися». Файл копії журналу з фото — це .zip, у якому є й фото. Файл потрапить лише туди, куди ви самі його надішлете чи збережете (наприклад, у Файли, хмарний диск або пошту). «Імпортувати файл копії» читає лише файл, який ви оберете в системному вікні вибору файлів.
Підписки
Оплату обробляють Apple App Store або Google Play; ми ніколи не бачимо ваших платіжних даних. Щоб перевірити, чи активна підписка, застосунок використовує RevenueCat, який отримує анонімний ідентифікатор користувача застосунку, статус покупки й підписки та базові дані пристрою, як-от версія ОС та IP-адреса. Оцінки й підтримка
Застосунок може запропонувати оцінити його у вікні оцінювання магазину; цим займаються Apple або Google. «Написати в підтримку» відкриває ваш поштовий застосунок; ми отримуємо лише те, що ви самі надішлете, і використовуємо це тільки для відповіді.
Дозволи
- Сповіщення: нагадування про обробки (наступна доза й день, коли знімати смужки). Їх можна вимкнути будь-коли в налаштуваннях системи.
- Камера й галерея (iPhone питає дозволу першого разу): лише коли ви додаєте фото до огляду.
- Інтернет: лише для перевірки підписки.
Застосунок не використовує геолокацію, контакти чи мікрофон.
Діти
HiveLog не призначений для дітей до 13 років, і ми свідомо не збираємо інформацію про дітей.
Ваші права
Оскільки дані залишаються на пристрої, ви можете переглянути, змінити, експортувати або видалити їх у застосунку чи видаливши застосунок. Із питаннями щодо даних підписки в RevenueCat звертайтеся до нас, і ми допоможемо.
