Days Until privacy policy
Effective date: 27 October 2026
Summary
Days Until is published by Dre Dev ("we"). It counts the days to and from your events and shows them on home and lock screen widgets. Everything you enter stays on your device. We don't run accounts, ads or analytics, and we don't sell or share your data.
Data stored on your device
The app saves the following only in the app's storage on your phone:
- event names, dates, times, emoji, themes, captions and notes;
- photos you choose as event backgrounds. The app copies only the photo you pick into its own storage (on iPhone, into a storage area shared only with the app's widgets) so the widgets can show it;
- reminder time, which event a widget shows, and other app settings.
This data is not sent to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you delete the event, clear the app's data or uninstall the app. It may be included in your device backup (iCloud or Google), which is covered by Apple's and Google's policies. Widgets and reminders are created on your device from the same data.
Subscriptions
Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your payment details. To check whether you have an active subscription, the app uses RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device information such as OS version and IP address. Sharing
If you tap "Share countdown", the app creates an image on your device, adds a short text with a link to the app's store page, and opens your phone's share menu. Nothing is shared unless you choose an app to share with.
Backups
If you tap "Back up events" in Settings, the app creates a file on your device with your events, notes and background photos and opens your phone's share menu, so you can save it where you choose (for example Files, Google Drive or email). The file is not sent to us. If you tap "Restore from a backup", the app reads only the file you pick and adds its events to the ones already on your device.
Permissions
- Notifications: for reminders before your events and milestone celebrations. You can turn them off at any time in system settings.
- Photos: only the photo you pick for an event background is read.
- Files: only the backup file you pick is read.
- Internet: only to verify subscriptions.
Children
Days Until is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Because your data stays on your device, you can view, change or delete it in the app or by uninstalling the app. For questions about subscription data held by RevenueCat, contact us and we will help.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.

If you write to us from the app (Settings → Contact support), the email already ends with a few lines: your phone's platform, whether a Days Until widget is placed, how many events you have and whether Pro is active. No event names, dates or photos. You see these lines before sending and can delete them; they help us answer and tell us whether widgets are easy to add.

Дані на вашому пристрої
Застосунок зберігає лише в пам'яті застосунку на вашому телефоні:
- назви подій, дати, час, емодзі, теми, підписи й нотатки;
- фото, які ви обираєте для фону подій. Застосунок копіює у свою пам'ять лише вибране фото (на iPhone — у сховище, спільне тільки з віджетами застосунку), щоб віджети могли його показати;
- час нагадувань, вибір події для віджета та інші налаштування.
Ці дані не надсилаються ні нам, ні комусь іншому. Вони видаляються разом із подією, під час очищення даних застосунку або його видалення. Вони можуть потрапити в резервну копію пристрою (iCloud або Google), на яку поширюються правила Apple і Google. Віджети й нагадування створюються на пристрої з тих самих даних.
Підписки
Оплату обробляють Apple App Store або Google Play; ми ніколи не бачимо ваших платіжних даних. Щоб перевірити, чи активна підписка, застосунок використовує RevenueCat, який отримує анонімний ідентифікатор користувача застосунку, статус покупки й підписки та базові дані пристрою, як-от версія ОС та IP-адреса. Див. політику конфіденційності RevenueCat, Apple і Google.
Поширення
Якщо ви натиснете «Поділитися», застосунок створить зображення на пристрої, додасть короткий текст із посиланням на сторінку застосунку в магазині й відкриє системне меню «Поділитися». Нічого не передається, доки ви самі не оберете застосунок.
Резервні копії
Якщо в налаштуваннях натиснути «Зберегти резервну копію», застосунок створить на пристрої файл із вашими подіями, нотатками й фото для фону та відкриє системне меню «Поділитися», щоб ви зберегли його там, де забажаєте (наприклад, у Файлах, на Google Диску чи в пошті). Нам цей файл не надсилається. Якщо натиснути «Відновити з резервної копії», застосунок прочитає лише вибраний вами файл і додасть його події до тих, що вже є на пристрої.
Дозволи
- Сповіщення: нагадування перед подіями та святкування ювілеїв. Їх можна вимкнути будь-коли в налаштуваннях системи.
- Фото: застосунок читає лише те фото, яке ви обрали для фону події.
- Файли: застосунок читає лише файл резервної копії, який ви обрали.
- Інтернет: лише для перевірки підписки.
Діти
Days Until не призначений для дітей до 13 років, і ми свідомо не збираємо інформацію про дітей.
Ваші права
Оскільки дані залишаються на пристрої, ви можете переглянути, змінити або видалити їх у застосунку чи видаливши застосунок. Із питаннями щодо даних підписки в RevenueCat звертайтеся до нас, і ми допоможемо.
Зміни
Якщо політика зміниться, ми оновимо цю сторінку та дату набрання чинності вгорі.
